Current transformer manufacturers explain in detail what the load of current transformer refers to? Why does the accuracy decrease when the allowable value is exceeded?
A: the load of current transformer refers to the total impedance of instrument panel, instrument equipment and connecting transmission line connected between secondary winding resistance terminals, which is generally expressed in impedance value.
The size of the secondary load impedance of the current transformer does great harm to the accuracy of the voltage transformer. When the secondary load impedance of the current transformer exceeds its allowable secondary load impedance, the accuracy will be reduced. When the secondary load impedance of the current transformer exceeds the allowable secondary load impedance, the scale value of the self induced electromotive force will be greatly increased and the iron core will be saturated, In such cases, a large part of the primary current will be used to produce self induced electromotive force, which will increase the deviation of voltage transformer and reduce the accuracy.
