TRANSMART has been focusing on basic raw materials research and development. We produce ingots of highest purity on the basis of Fe, Co, and Ni. We can tailor the composition and specific heat treatment process to obtain unique properties for specific customer needs.
High purity raw materials are melted with temperature about 1400°C before being cast onto a high-speed cooling copper wheel. The cooling rate is 1 million degrees per second. A heat treatment at around 500- 600 °C transforms the tape into the nanocrystalline state, which gives the metal the unique magnetic properties.
Casted Nanocrystalline ribbons do not require slitting is grade1K107. While the ribbon of large coil cut to the required sizes is grade 1K107B.
The ribbon width range is from 2 mm to 40 mm, and the ribbon thickness range is from 16– 30 um.
