The difference between iron-based amorphous alloys and iron-nickel-based amorphous alloys

Fe-based amorphous alloy

Composition: 80% Fe, 20% Si, B metal elements

performance:

1. High saturation magnetic induction intensity (1.54T)

2. Compared with the loss of silicon steel sheet: magnetic permeability, excitation current and iron loss are better than silicon steel sheet. In particular, the iron loss is low (1/3-1/5 of the oriented silicon steel sheet), and it can save energy by 60-70% instead of silicon steel as a distribution transformer.

Application: Widely used in distribution transformers, high-power switching power supplies, pulse transformers, magnetic amplifiers, intermediate frequency transformers and inverter cores, suitable for use at frequencies below 10kHz.

Fe-based amorphous alloy

Fe-Ni-based amorphous alloy

Composition: 40% Ni, 40% Fe and 20% metal-like elements

Performance: 1. It has medium saturation magnetic induction intensity (0.8T), high initial permeability and high permeability, as well as high mechanical strength and excellent toughness.

2. It has low iron loss at medium and low frequencies.

3. The heat treatment in air will not oxidize, and a good rectangular loop can be obtained after magnetic field annealing.

application:

Widely used in leakage switches, precision current transformer cores, magnetic shields, etc.
